Celebrate fall & the spirit of Halloween with Zoosiana at Boo at the Zoo, all October long! This festive event features daily events, such as a Bat-themed scavenger hunt, candy giveaways, photo opportunities, and new weekend-only activities, including entertainment and "Treat & Greet" stations.

Bat-themed Scavenger Hunt

Search high and low as you walk through the zoo and find all 10 Boo at the Zoo bats.

The color of the bats will match the colors on your provided sticker sheet. Find the bat matching the color of your sticker, then place the sticker! Activity sheet provided on the back side of your Zoosiana map!
(Hint: there are two bats of each color: blue, purple, green, orange and yellow!)

Online Costume Contest

We're keeping our annual online costume contest going! How to enter & vote for your favorite costume:

Take your photo at the Photo Op Spot (located at the Critter Café).
Email your best photo to boo@zoosiana.com to submit. Submitted photos will be uploaded weekly to Zoosiana's Facebook page.
Vote by "liking" the photo of your favorite costume(s).

The photo with the most "likes" by the end of the day (11:59pm) October 31, 2025, will win a special prize! Submissions are limited to one per child or family. The winner will be announced on Zoosiana's Facebook and Instagram and will be contacted by email no later than November 2, 2025.
